Competencies
The Council for Accreditation of Counseling and Related Educational Programs (CACREP) is an independent accrediting agency that assures graduate counseling programs meet compliance with widely recognized counseling professional standards, and they are applicable to all programs regardless of specialization. As a CACREP accredited institution, The Chicago School of Professional Psychology makes continued commitment to demonstrate adherence to CACREP Policies and Standard. The eight core curricular areas in the CACREP standard address competencies all who enter the counseling profession should embody. My work on each standard is available below.
